I just rewatched Fred's death scene. It's almost unbearably hard to watch. I'd guess that response indicates superior writing and acting.

That may have been one of the worst things ever on TV, and it still makes me a little sick thinking about it. Let's take one of the most likable characters on the show, let her know that she's going to die, then watch her die. Eech. It certainly was effective, and it was an artistically sound choice, but I still wish that Fred hadn't died.
ReplyDelete(I am glad that they made her stay dead. The endless resurrections had started to make the Buffyverse seem rather silly.)
I agree that I'm glad she stayed dead. I think the various resurrections in the Buffyverse---Buffy, Angel, and Spike come to mind---really watered down the impact that they had.
ReplyDeleteSo, which major character are we going to see die in Dollhouse Season 2?
Prediction: Whisky, Victor, and Mellie/November will all die, killed by Alpha. Also, perhaps one of the non-Dolls (Ballard?) will somehow have their personality erased and destroyed and they will need to live out the rest of their lives as a Doll or with a new personality.
ReplyDeleteYou heard it here first, folks. Maybe we should start a betting pool.
